Making Your Mark Weekend Art Workshop 18 & 19 May 2019 Saturday & Sunday 9.30am – 3.30pm
Do you want to…
Try abstract painting for the first time?
Loosen up and feel freer in your art making?
Shake up your process and find yourself in your art?
Discover your creative power and feel the joy of spontaneous expression when you connect to your intuition in this two day workshop. I will guide you through a process and show you techniques and tools that will help push you out of your comfort zone and into a spontaneity that is ultimately more satisfying.
Learn to silence your inner critic (or at least ignore it), be present
If you have never made art before, this is a great way to start!
We start the workshop with some timed exercises on smaller pieces of cheap paper to push you out of thinking and into intuitive doing without worrying about wasting expensive art supplies. Once you’re in a more playful creative mood, we will progress to working on good paper and take more time with these pieces of art to bring them to resolution over the two days.
This workshop is open to beginners and intermediate artists.
If you are a beginner and wish to take this workshop, please prepare yourself by familiarising yourself with your paints and drawing materials by creating a page of swatches
